A little more about me

Let me introduce myself! If you've clicked on this section then we're already off to a great start!

I'm from Turkey and lived in 6 different countries for 10 years, which has given me a unique perspective on life. I'm living in Valencia, Spain with my husband. I'm an Associate Professor of Marketing, appointed by the Ministry of Education in Spain(ANECA PUP and PCD), and have been teaching marketing and business-related subjects to university students for 10 years.

 

I'm also a Ph.D. graduate in Business Administration and Marketing (Cum Laude) from the Universitat Jaume I, Spain, and have a Postdoc from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. I'm very passionate about volunteering and have worked with international NGOs such as AIESEC, TedX, and Amnesty International. Currently, I volunteer at Fundacion Cibervoluntarios.

 

My recent research focuses on social media marketing, online consumer behavior, and sports marketing. I'm a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM), a Chartered Marketer (CMktr), and a Certified Digital Marketing Professional (CDMP). When I'm not working, I love to dance Latin dances, travel, read novels, and upgrade my tech skills. My favorite marketer is Seth Godin.
